The CMT orientation program is conducted prior to the commencement of the first semester. On the first day of the program, students are welcomed with a formal inauguration and ceremonial address by the chief guest and administrative heads. The following days after the inauguration are devoted to experience sharing sessions by corporate executives as well as entrepreneurs. During the orientation period, outbound activities are organized for the incumbents to develop team building and problem-solving skills. In addition, preparatory classes are conducted in accountancy, statistics, and economics, depending on the undergraduate programs previously pursued by the incumbents.

VALUE ADDITION CERTIFICATION | INDUSTRY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM |
The learning methodology in CMT is based on continuous learning and is drawn from the best of the world. It has evolved over the years and is constantly being updated and benchmarked against the best practices. It is important to always learn from our surroundings and the events that take place around us. Faculty members strive to make classes interactive so that students can correlate theories with practical examples for better understanding.
INDUSTRY INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
Internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to apply their classroom learning to actual business situations, enhance their competencies, network with experienced professionals in their domain, be more informed about their interests, and be better prepared for a full-time opportunity in their chosen field.
In the summer, after the first year, students are required to spend 45 days in an industrial organization doing a project on a significant aspect or problem of organizational management. After the second year, the students should complete a mandatory internship program and submit the same for the compilation of the course. The aim of these projects is to provide students with an opportunity to closely observe an organization in operation and relate what they have learnt in class to actual practice.
